Wonder Woman Initiative
Tayo founded the Wonder Woman Initiative with the aim of amplifying the voices of women and promoting their power and worth through the medium of fashion and the arts. The Initiative achieves this objective by means of brand messaging, live events, and fashion shows that uplift women in the community. Since its inception in 2018, the Initiative has curated over 30 events and fashion week shows, including a groundbreaking event at New York Fashion Week, and has awarded over 50 women while raising funds for underprivileged communities in Miami, Haiti, and Nigeria. By using clothes and artistic design as symbolic representations of societal concepts, the Initiative endeavors to bring about positive change and support humanitarian causes that extend beyond the fashion industry, in collaboration with influential voices.
Our Periods
The “Our Periods” initiative is an extension of the I Am Eido brand, founded on the principle of providing menstrual care packages to those who are unable to afford the necessary supplies. The initiative focuses on empowering and dignifying women and girls who would otherwise be unable to access essential menstrual products. We believe that every individual is a vital building block of society, with an important role to play in shaping life. However, it is also acknowledged that living gracefully is largely dependent on being able to function optimally throughout life’s various stages. Unfortunately, Period Poverty is a significant hindrance for many women, but our initiative aims to bridge the gap between period poverty and period prosperity. With our reusable menstrual pads and carrying case, we are able to provide comfort and sustainability for those in need. These pads are designed to be long-lasting, with a lifespan of up to 10 years, making them an eco-friendly alternative to disposable pads.
